Bosch spark plugs not only meet, but exceed OEM specification in all these areas.

1. All the physical dimensions are in accordance.

2. It has the proper heat range.

3. It has a highly upgraded graphite encased resistor which exceeds the OEM spec of the 194-8518 and is equivalent to the resistor grade of Cat's 243-4291 bio gas plug.

4. The pyranit insulator is of a significantly higher grade and exceeds the specification of the 194-8518.

5. The full length terminal stud is of higher quality and again exceeds Caterpillar's specification.

6. The shell of the Bosch plug is thicker, has pressed threads, and is nickel plated. All of these exceed Caterpillar's specification.

7. The precious metal insert in the ground electrode and the center electrode far exceed the standard of the Caterpillar plug and the double and triple hour of runtime document that it exceeds Caterpillar's specification.

8. The Bosch plug has also field proven that it does not collect contaminate materials and retains it's Peak Power Performance for a much longer period of time. We have documented that it allows the engine to stay in emissions compliance for a longer period of time.

9. The yttrium ground strap again exceeds Caterpillars specification and can handle a much higher heat range allowing stability and preventing the ground strap from opening under high load and heat.

Typical Applications: Waukesha VHP GI and GSI
Features: This is a highly upgraded version of Champions plug for the Waukesha GI, GSI 1/2” reach. The Bosch plug will have a precious metal insert like the 7301. Current testing has shown this plug to give 3 times more wear life than competition.

The plug has a V-cut center electrode which dissipates moisture between it and the ground electrode. Promotes easier starting in cold and moist weather. This is a platinum plug.
