66.9 MW Pratt and Whitney Dual Fuel Turbine Power Plant

Model FT8-1 twin gas turbine unit with heat recovery Complete combined-cycle plant has a output: 66.9 MW electricity generation efficiency is 47.5%. The gas turbine unit was put into commercial operation in March 1996 to serve the electrical grid peak load usage. The plant has run for a total of 12,500 hours, the accumulation starting number of times 2000 times. In October, 2007 the company invested 1,060,000 USD in dual fuel improvements, since then it ran for only 90 hours.
The HRSG forms a complete set with the FT8 twin gas turbine unit. The steam turbine is axial flow and reaction type. The HRSG and the steam turbine completed in 1996. The whole set unit performance is fine, last generated electricity in December, 2007, it presently is in good maintenance condition.
2. Major equipments
FT8-1 twin gas turbine unit in 1995 was supplied by Pratt &Whitney, (PT8) and the generator including two GG8 gas generator and with its matching power turbine. The distinction is A machine and B machine. A machine delivered in August, 2005 to the manufacture in United States for overhaul and put back into operation. It ran for 1300 hours before sending back for repair, since then it has run for 9800 hours. A machine in December 2006 delivered to the manufacture in United States for overhaul and then was put back in operation, since then it has only run for 1100 hours.
3. Supply Scope:
Whole set combined-cycle unit (1, 2 units) contain machine, the electrical, the boiler and auxiliary equipments. The main supply scope : Two gas turbines and the necessary generator, the HRSG and the steam turbine, two main transformers, the natural gas conditioning units, the step up station, and the gas feed, oil feed, the electrical, the control, the water supply, the factory use electrical and system.
